Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to meal preparation and food safety while delivering exceptional service. This position is perfect for those with a passion for cooking and a desire to work in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals and food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Support the catering team during events, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Participate in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
Assist in serving meals to customers, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong culinary skills, including cooking, meal preparation, and food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in catering is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
