About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Delivery Coordinator to join our growing team in Scotland.
As a Digital Delivery Coordinator you will support the ‘Digital Lead’, in delivery of the Digital & IM Strategy. Specifically supporting projects follow Information Management Plans, Methods and Procedures through the increased use of core digital platforms.
What you'll be doing
- Support the Information Managers to implement the project Information Management Plan and associated documents to meet the requirements outlined in the Employer Information Requirements
- Educate project teams, clients and supply chain members in the use and development of the Project Information Model (Graphical and Non Graphical)
- Support the project teams to facilitate their business processes using digital
tools/technology. These processes include but are not limited to:
o HSES access control, competency management, permits and controls,
o Quality progressive assurance
o Task Management of short term look ahead programmes
o Information Management for files and project data
o Reality Capture and progress reporting
- Identify and review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing
efficiency, reducing cost, improve quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm.
- Support data capture to support reporting for project teams and senior management.
- Facilitate 3D site coordination meetings with Internal and external project partners.
- Demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours.
- Collaborate relentlessly.
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
- BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, HND/HDC or qualified by experience with an understanding and proven delivery of infrastructure or Building, managing multiple processes / schemes
- Full UK Driving License
- NVQ – Level 5 or 5+ years of project / Educational experience
- Keen to learn, develop knowledge and support members.
- Excellent verbal communication skills. Be able to present the use of digital platforms to people from a wide range of backgrounds and levels of understanding.
- Excellent written communication skills. Be able to pen emails, documents and
presentations that communicate the information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to be disciplined, organised and proactive.
- Ability to build form new relationships and work with teams.
- Valid CSCS card
The following qualities/experience are desirable but not essential:
- Some understanding of Design, Surveying and Asset Management
- GIS application experience
- Synchro Software experience or equivalent
- Professional membership or working towards a professional membership
