Job Title: Full-Time Chef
Location: Causeway Hotel - Northern Ireland

Job Summary

The Causeway Hotel is seeking a talented and dependable Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team. Set in a unique and high-profile location, we pride ourselves on delivering quality food and excellent guest experiences. The successful candidate will be confident across all kitchen sections, including preparation, sauce work, grill, and managing the pass during service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
Carry out daily food preparation, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste
Prepare and execute a range of sauces in line with menu specifications
Take responsibility for the grill section, ensuring accurate cooking and timing
Work the pass during service, coordinating orders and maintaining smooth kitchen flow
Ensure all dishes are presented to the hotel’s quality and presentation standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure excellent service at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as a chef or line cook in a busy kitchen environment
Strong skills in grill work and sauce preparation
Experience working the pass or coordinating service is highly desirable
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
COS available for the right candidate

Desirable

Experience in a hotel or high-volume hospitality setting
Relevant culinary qualifications
Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail
