Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced front of house team member to deliver exceptional guest services in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant operations, with a focus on providing memorable dining experiences. This role involves engaging with guests, managing service flow, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the establishment. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
Provide attentive guest service, addressing any special requests or concerns
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service delivery during shifts

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Experience in serving, food preparation, and basic kitchen operations is desirable
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing processes
Proven ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
