REPORTING TO: Spa Therapy Manager
HOURS: Full Time (4-5 days) based on 4/5 days out of 7, including weekend work. Shift patterns 9.45 am-6.45 pm. Subsidized bus transport upon request within Ballymena.
LOCATION: Galgorm (Ballymena).
SALARY: £13.92-£17.92 per hour -Payscale

About the role:
The main responsibilities for this position are to work as an experienced massage therapist and member of a friendly and professional team and to deliver a high standard of treatment and customer service to all Spa guests and members.
Job Description:
The main duties involve but are not limited to;

Ensuring that guests/members receive a warm and friendly welcome, provide privacy and focus on exceeding their expectations every time.

Performing massages and facials to our guests and members delivering a high standard of treatments.

Achieving individual sales targets on spa products.

Delivering outstanding customer service and dealing with queries effectively through offering professional advice on products and treatments available.

Observing statutory compliance including all Healthworks-related Health & Safety obligations which your manager may identify to you and ensuring you work within agreed regulations by completing registration/consultation cards for every client.
The Person:
Essential Criteria, applicants must have;

An NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy.

A proven track record of exceeding retail sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service within the beauty industry.

The ability to demonstrate your initiative and have a compassionate, intuitive, caring, and sensitive understanding of clients’ needs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of working within a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience or an interest in the Hospitality industry.

High standards and the ability to grow and develop others around you and pass on your knowledge.
Desirable;
-
1-2 years of experience working in a similar spa environment.

Experience in advanced skin treatments.
