Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts and experience in restaurant or kitchen settings to contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Assist with meal preparation for other service periods as required
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Serve breakfast items efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Strong skills in meal preparation, with an eye for detail and presentation
Previous experience in culinary roles, particularly in breakfast or brunch service, is desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
