Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your hospitality skills in a vibrant environment, supporting guests throughout their stay and managing front desk operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the booking system
Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Process payments securely and maintain accurate financial records
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with guests and suppliers
Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service roles is essential
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
Excellent communication skills with strong phone etiquette
Demonstrated hospitality skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing our hotel brand effectively

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
