Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled self employed Floor Layers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and resin floor laying and willing to travel nation wide, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Floor Layer, you will be responsible for installing and finishing flooring in residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

wage negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities

Install various types of flooring, including epoxy, polyurethane screeds, polymer screeds, self leveling epoxy and coatings
Prepare subfloors by grinding, cleaning, levelling, and repairing as necessary
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution
Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the duration of the project
Abide by site health and safety rules

Experience

Minimum 3 years of laying floors
Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in flooring installation
Strong floor laying skills with an understanding of building materials and techniques
Previous experience in construction painting is a plus
Full uk driving licence
Cscs
