Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista/Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating exceptional coffee experiences while providing outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, sales, and hospitality, all while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and other drinks according to established recipes and standards
Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while offering product recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and sales counters to ensure a hygienic environment
Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change using basic math skills
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards and ensure customer safety

Requirements

Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is highly desirable
Confidence is 1 to 1 sales
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
Ability to convince customers and increase sales
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service
A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
