Job Summary
Charnock Hall Primary Academy is looking to appoint a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant for 20hours per week, term time only to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils in their learning under the guidance of the class teacher
Work with individuals or small groups to deliver planned activities
Assist in creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of pupils, including those with SEND
Help manage pupil behaviour and promote positive attitudes
Supervise pupils during school trips and out-of-classroom activities
Provide personal care support where necessary
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with primary-age children in a school setting
Understanding of the National Curriculum and child development
A patient, flexible, and supportive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
