Overview

Join our vibrant childcare team as a Nursery Team Leader, where your passion for early childhood education and leadership skills will inspire and nurture young minds. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily nursery operations, support and guide staff, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children to learn and grow. Your energetic approach will help create a positive atmosphere that promotes development, teamwork, and outstanding childcare standards. Responsibilities

Lead and motivate your team to deliver high-quality care and educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs
Oversee daily nursery routines, including meal times, play sessions, nap times, and learning activities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff
Support staff training and development to enhance childcare practices and team cohesion
Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns promptly
Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and activity planning
Foster an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity, independence, and social skills

Skills

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively
Excellent communication skills in English to liaise with staff, parents, and external partners
Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood development
Ability to organize schedules, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems proactively
Passionate about nurturing young children’s growth through engaging activities and positive reinforcement
