Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Join Our Caring Team at Blossom Lodge

Location: Blossom Lodge Care Home, Cherrys Road, Barnsley, S71 5QU

Position: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Bank (Flexible shifts available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our professional nursing team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional clinical care while supporting residents and their families in a warm, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards.
Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with carers, healthcare professionals, and families.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC and NMC standards.
Mentor and support care staff to promote best practice.

Essential Requirements

Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN).
Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience in elderly care or dementia care is desirable but not essential.
