An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the endoscopy team within NHS Tayside. The ward assistant role is pivotal in ward organisation & administrative duties. You will be expected to support the team by carrying out general clinical, administrative and housekeeping duties within a constantly changing environment.

We are looking for someone who is organised with excellent communication skills and good IT skills. Within this role there is data collection & close working with the procurement department. Familiarity with NHS systems such as Trakcare, PECOS and SSTS would be beneficial. Good time management & Excellent telephone manner.

The post holder will be based in the Endoscopy Unit , Ninewells Hospital.

Hours of work are currently Monday to Friday but this can be subject to review and the ability to be flexible is essential.

You will be required to comply with t\he Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment

Hours of work are: 21.5 hours per week
