Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Office Administrator to join our busy team.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the office team covering a wide range of administration functions.

This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills.

The individual must be able to work within a team but also work using their own initiative and problem solve whilst multi-tasking.

No two days are the same in this fast paced but fun environment where you will be

Responding to telephone and email queries from our customers
Making sure our stock reports are completed accurately
Supporting the operations manager with with invoicing and payroll admin
Supporting the office by dealing with truck drivers who are delivering or collecting stock
Supporting the rest of the team with whatever else needs to be done!

Qualifications & Experience

A good understanding and experience in administration ideally in a similar fast paced transport/logistics/manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel

Behaviours

Good communication skills both face to face and on the telephone
A positive and proactive approach and a good team player
Flexible to adapt to requirements and to learn new tasks and processes
Able to work effectively in a team and alone
Keen eye for detail, able to identify issues and escalate appropriately

Hours Monday – Friday; 6.00am to 3.00pm (Including a 1 hour unpaid break)

28 days holiday annually including bank holidays

Pay: £26,500.00 per year
