Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Assistants to join our team in. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children, facilitate engaging activities, and contribute to a memorable summer experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised, and passionate about childcare and education. Previous experience in teaching, nannying, or childcare is highly desirable, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English and French. This paid position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable skills in a vibrant summer environment.

Duties

Supervise children during various camp activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment
Assist in organising and leading recreational games, arts and crafts, and educational programmes
Support children with their daily routines, including meal times and rest periods
Drive children to organised excursions or activities as required
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and teamwork
Maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to ensure smooth camp operations

Requirements

Experience in teaching, nannying, or childcare is preferred
Fluency in English
Genuine interest in working with children and creating engaging experiences
Ability to organise activities and manage groups of children responsibly
Flexibility to work during the summer months
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Must be organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
