Start Date - ASAP

Hours: Days: 7 days per week - Monday to Sunday / 1 hour per day - To increase in a few weeks to include more areas - roughly two hours

Time: AM Cleaning before 9am.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those eager to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering exceptional hygiene standards and creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors alike.

Duties

Conduct regular cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning tools and products.
Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed to ensure facilities remain fully operational.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to the relevant management team promptly.
Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals in designated areas.
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work duties and client confidentiality.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across different environments.
