Freelance Property Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper

Remote | Flexible Hours | Approximately 8-16 Hours Per Month Initially

£30-£40 per hour, depending on experience

Greenbric Property Management Ltd is a growing independent residential block management company managing developments across Surrey and the South East. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Property Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper to support our expanding portfolio and assist with the financial management of our clients' properties.

This role would suit an individual with previous residential block management accounting experience who understands service charge accounting, client money accounting and the financial requirements of residential developments.

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate accounting records for multiple residential developments
Processing supplier invoices and managing creditor payments
Raising service charge and ground rent demands
Allocating receipts and maintaining debtor records
Reconciling client bank accounts
Preparing monthly and quarterly client financial reports
Producing income and expenditure reports for Directors and Resident Management Companies
Monitoring service charge arrears
Maintaining reserve fund records
Assisting with year-end service charge accounts preparation
Providing financial information required for LPE1 enquiries and property sales
Supporting the Managing Director with financial administration and reporting

Essential Experience

Previous experience within residential block management accounting
Understanding of service charge accounting and client money accounting
Experience producing financial reports for clients and directors
Strong reconciliation and bookkeeping skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Software Experience

Experience using block management software is essential.

Applicants with experience using Blockman will be particularly welcomed.

Experience with other property management systems such as Qube, MRI Horizon or similar platforms would also be advantageous.
