Full job description

Executive Assistant to the Group Operations Director

Location: HSL Chairs, Batley
Salary: £34,000.00 - £40,000.00 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (12 months Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a highly professional, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant to the CEO to provide exceptional administrative and organisational support at executive level.

This is a pivotal role that requires an individual who can manage competing priorities, act as a trusted representative of the CEO, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, including complex diary and inbox management.
Coordinate, schedule, and organise meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Build and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
Attend meetings as required, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
Book, coordinate, and host meetings in the absence of the CEO, ensuring discussions remain productive and actions are effectively communicated and delivered.
Support the CEO with strategic projects and organisational initiatives.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or senior executive.
Extensive diary management experience, including managing complex schedules and competing priorities.
Experience booking, coordinating, and hosting meetings in the absence of the CEO.
Exceptional people skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively on behalf of the CEO.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
A professional, discreet, and highly confidential approach to work.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using scheduling and collaboration tools.
