Full job description

Job Overview:

We're looking for freelance pizza chefs to support our Head and Sous Pizza chefs at a prestigious event in Leeds on the 26th and 27th June 2026. You’ll be cooking wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas across 2 days at an event that currently has over 7,000 attendees.

The Role:

You’ll be supporting our Head and Sous chefs and running the oven and leading service during cover for breaks. You'll be supported by a front of house team, delivering high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced event environment.

When:
26th & 27th June 2026

Experience Required:

Experienced pizza chef (wood-fired preferred)
Confident handling Neapolitan dough and fast-paced service - Able to manage 3 to 4 pizza's simultaneously
Reliable, calm under pressure
Friendly and professional — this is a customer-facing role
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures
Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making is preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service through high-quality food production

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
