Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, delivering memorable experiences to our guests. Previous hotel experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain a high standard of phone etiquette when communicating with guests and suppliers
Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and facilities are in excellent condition
Keep the reception area organised, tidy, and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality environment is preferred
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Strong communication skills; fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are advantageous
Knowledge of phone etiquette standards within a customer service setting
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Working hours mainly consist of afternoon and evening shifts
