Full job description

Do you have a passion for Cars? G3 Vehicle Auctions have opportunities to join our site in Bedford. If you do have a passion for cars and are looking to work for an established and growing business, then look no further! G3 are looking for Yard Operatives to expand our current team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Store and locate vehicles on site between the yard and the auction hall
Line and lot vehicles for auction, ensuring they are presentable for auction
Site, transfer, and release vehicles in line with the Gating Process
Image vehicles in line with current G3 systems
Maintain a safe driving standard
Ensure health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the yard and auction hall so that near misses, accidents to vehicles and customers are prevented
Carry out any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met
Manage, control, and monitor vehicle movement on site
Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed
Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and work areas at all times
Ensuring upkeep of all tools, property, and services
Working closely with Management, Transport, and other departments always
Taking written and verbal instructions

SKILLS ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

Remain accustomed or open to working in all-weather conditions
Have good organisational & communication skills
Work under pressure to ensure smooth running of site and auction
Have the ability to deal with demanding customers whilst maintaining good customer service
Have a strong work ethic, confidence and self motivated in order to manage your own workload and a willingness to assist in other areas of the business

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,587.00 per year
