Join us as a Non Statutory Debt Recovery Officer within the Chief Executive's department. In this entry-level role, you will play a vital part in collecting outstanding invoices owed to Nottinghamshire County Council from various companies, organisations, and individuals. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference while developing your skills in a supportive team.

As a Non Statutory Debt Recovery Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

Connecting with Customers: Engage with organisations and individuals to recover outstanding debts.
Collaborating for Solutions: Liaise with other services within Nottinghamshire County Council to resolve disputes effectively.
Escalating Issues: Identify and escalate cases that require further action to ensure timely resolution.
Maintaining Reputation: Uphold the positive reputation of Nottinghamshire County Council while managing sensitive debt collection matters.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Educational Background: GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.
Understanding of Debt: Knowledge of non-statutory debt and the types of customers that may incur it.
IT Proficiency: Familiarity with IT software packages, including ERP solutions, MS Word, and Excel
