Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Your skills will contribute to creating welcoming, vibrant, and professional spaces that meet client specifications and safety standards. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and smooth finishes
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired effects
Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand decorating requirements and provide expert advice on color schemes and finishes
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Manage time effectively to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Transport equipment and materials safely to different job sites using a valid driving license

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers
Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately
Strong knowledge of different paints, materials, techniques, and surface preparation methods
Valid driving license for transportation between multiple job sites
Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working in various environments
Fluency in English for clear communication and understanding of instructions
