Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator specialising in Mortgages to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mortgage documentation and liaising with our customers and lenders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a career within the mortgage and financial services sector.

Responsibilities

Organise and maintain mortgage files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation and processing of mortgage applications and related paperwork.
Liaise with clients, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate communication and document exchange.
Verify financial information provided by clients, including income, assets, and liabilities.
Ensure all activities comply with current regulatory standards and company policies.
Update internal databases accurately to reflect the status of each mortgage application.

Skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic maths skills essential for verifying financial data accurately.
Excellent attention to detail to minimise errors in documentation and data entry.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programmes.
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a collaborative approach within the team.

Working Pattern

Minimum of 24 hours per week - would consider Full Time or Part Time
Working days/hours can be flexible to suit the right candidate
This is an office-based role in Harpenden, remote working can be discussed after probation.

Benefits

20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata if Part Time).

Pay £26,500 - £28,000 dependent on experience
