AV Installations Engineer

Reports to: AV Installations Manager

Are you passionate about delivering high quality AV solutions and looking to take the next step in your engineering career? Converge Technology Solutions is expanding its in house AV capability, and we’re looking for an AV Installations Engineer to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward thinking technology provider committed to sustainability, customer excellence, and empowering its people.

What You’ll Do
As an AV Installations Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering professional AV and structured cabling installations across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

Installing a range of audio visual systems, structured cabling, and data/fibre solutions

(“Delivering AV/structured cabling installations across the UK.”)

Ensuring all work meets Converge’s internal management systems and safety procedures

(“Comply with Converge’s internal management systems and safety procedures.”)

Supporting our sustainability strategy through responsible working practices
Completing installations within project time and budget allowances

(“Complete all AV/structured cabling installations within project time/budget allowance.”)

Working closely with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal teams
Regular UK travel, including overnight stays when required

(“Regular travel across the UK is required, including frequent periods working away from home and overnight stays.”)

What We’re Looking For
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence

Experience in:
AV installations
Data and fibre cabling
Cabinet patching and clean installations
Access point installations

Desired (Not Essential)
Certification experience with major AV brands (e.g., Promethean)
Fibre installation/certification
