Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head Chef/Kitchen Manager . The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service, maintain a high level of hygiene & food safety. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. The Head Chef/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing food production, maintaining the kitchen to an exceptional standard, ensuring the team have an a positive environment to work in and be a crucial part of running a successful business.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes
Oversee food production to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining cost efficiency
Ensure compliance (and above) with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling waste to optimise kitchen efficiency
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety policies

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Previous experience in food production and restaurant operations is essential
Excellent leadership qualities combined with organisational skills
Strong understanding of hospitality service standards, including serving practices
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and fostering a positive team culture

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
