Care Assistant – Sevenoaks

£13.80–£15.00 per hour weekdays | £14.80–£16.00 weekends | Paid travel time

Sevenoaks & surrounding areas

Join Trinity Homecare as a Care Assistant and help people across Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas continue living safely and independently in their own homes.

We're looking for caring, reliable people who can offer weekday availability and work alternate weekends.

This is a visiting care role, so you'll need a full UK driving licence, your own car and be comfortable travelling between towns to support our clients.

When we need you

We're currently recruiting for the following shift patterns:

07:00–14:00
14:00–22:00
16:00–22:00
Alternate weekends – both Saturday and Sunday

You don't need to work every shift pattern. We'll discuss your availability and how this matches our current client needs.

Your pay

Weekdays (Monday–Friday): £13.80–£15.00 per hour
Weekends (Saturday–Sunday): £14.80–£16.00 per hour
Travel time between clients: £13.80 per hour
Mileage: 45p per mile

Where you'll work

Although we're recruiting in Sevenoaks, this isn't a role where you'll only support clients within Sevenoaks itself.

Our Care Assistants travel between clients across the wider service area, including Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Edenbridge, Westerham, Oxted, Biggin Hill and surrounding areas.

For example, if you live in Sevenoaks, you could support clients in Tonbridge, Edenbridge, Oxted, Westerham or Biggin Hill depending on where care is needed.

We're also growing our services around East Grinstead and Crawley and welcome applications from people in these areas who can currently travel to our existing clients.

What you'll be doing

You'll provide personalised support in clients' homes, helping them maintain their independence and continue living life their way.

Your visits could include:

Companionship and conversation
Personal care and helping clients get ready for their day
Preparing meals and supporting with medication
Shopping and light household tasks
Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
Encouraging independence and wellbeing
Following individual care plans and recording the support you provide

What we're looking for

Previous care experience is welcome, but it isn't essential. We'll provide the training and support you need.

You'll need to be:

Caring, patient and compassionate
Reliable and comfortable working independently
A good communicator
Available during the week and on alternate weekends
Comfortable travelling between towns to support clients
A full UK driving licence holder with access to your own car
Eligible to work in the UK

What you'll receive

Paid travel time between clients
45p per mile mileage
28 days' annual leave pro rata
