Full job description

Experienced Accounts Administrator (Office Based)

We are looking for an experienced part- time Accounts Administrator to join our busy accounts office.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong accounting and administrative skills who can work accurately, efficiently, and independently.

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase and sales invoices using Sage 50 accounts software
Bank reconciliations and credit control
Assisting with supplier payments
Assisting with payroll (training can be given)
General office administration duties

Skills/Experience – Essential

Previous experience in an accounts administration or similar finance role is essential
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts
Experience of payroll procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Able to prioritise workload
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently

Skills/Experience – Desirable

Working Arrangements

Our office is in a rural location, and own transport is essential as public transport links are limited. This is a part-time office-based position. Due to the nature of the role, working from home is not available.

Hours: 10 hours per week (with the possibility of more hours) over 2 days. One of the working days must be a Wednesday.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
