Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a friendly attitude are essential. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to quality standards.
Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and efficient manner.
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
Basic food preparation skills to assist with various café offerings.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
