Initial Washroom Hygiene Laundry Operative

We are currently seeking a Laundry Operative to join our dedicated team at the Birmingham branch. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Laundry Operative Role

As a Laundry Operative, you will cover a wide variety of tasks within the processing area of the branch to support colleagues and customers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the daily running of the processing unit which will include PowerTrans machines, RugtVedt rolling machines and dryers
Ensuring hourly production targets are met
Complying with all health and safety legislation
Ensuring that dust mats which are processed meet the company standards
Frequently maintaining the operating equipment
Reporting equipment with defects to the appropriate team member
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within your area of work

Laundry Operative Requirements:

Factory or logistics experience would be preferred
An FLT licence would be an advantage but training will be provided
Good team player
Ability to work to targets
Excellent customer service skills
Basic understanding of health and safety
Excellent attention to detail
You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
