Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Food Production Operative to join our team at our production facility. In this role, your main responsibility will be to support daily food preparation and production, ensuring that high standards of quality and safety are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily food production tasks, including preparation, packing, and maintaining cleanliness in the unit.

Support the team in maintaining high food safety and quality standards.

Prepare products for distribution, ensuring they are properly packed, stored, and ready for delivery by the driving team.

Be flexible with start times, which may begin as early as 06:00 but typically 08:00 depending on production needs.

Contribute to the smooth operation of the unit by assisting with various tasks as required.

Assist in any other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a food production or similar role is preferred but not essential.

Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to varying tasks and schedules.

Good physical health to carry out manual work.

Team-oriented, positive, and willing to take initiative.

Schedule:

Part-time role, Monday to Friday.

2–4 hours per day, with shifts finishing before 13:00.

The role will be based at our current Spark Hill location, transitioning to our new state-of-the-art warehouse in Smethwick (five-minute walk from The Hawthorns train station).
