Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/ Bar Person to join our team. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to the overall success of our busy day time restaurant.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, ranging from hot drinks through to alcoholic drinks ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality.
Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Uphold high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging positively with customers.
Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated when required.
