Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Porter to provide exceptional guest services and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle various responsibilities with discretion and efficiency. Multilingual abilities and hospitality experience are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and overall service quality. This role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our team, ensuring guests feel welcomed, safe, and well-cared for throughout the night.

Duties

Welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours, providing a warm and professional first impression
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns with courtesy and professionalism
Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining logs, processing reservations, and updating guest records
Assist with organising late-night amenities or services as required by guests
Liaise with other hotel departments to coordinate services and resolve any issues that arise overnight
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of communal areas such as the lobby, reception desk, and corridors

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in handling administrative duties
Friendly, approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining vigilance for safety and security
Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
Discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences

Pay: £13.00 per hour
