The Management Accountant, reporting into the Finance Manager, will be responsible for general month end, as well as some FP&A support as the business grows. This opportunity will suit an ambitious fully qualified or part-qualified accountant, who has extensive end-to-end month end experience and wants to support the business on their impressive growth trajectory. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and take a positive, proactive approach to the work at hand.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and monthly commentary
Preparing event specific P&L reports
Preparing monthly stock reporting and valuation
Assisting with the preparation of year end and audit file
Preparing the VAT and IOSS reporting
Preparing the tax analysis
Assisting with the budgeting and reforecasting process
Preparing the Bank Pack submission
Supporting the Head of Finance and assisting with any other adhoc queries or tasks

Skills/Experience required

Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Strong knowledge of month-end processes and management accounting
Experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Knowledge of VAT reporting and financial compliance requirements
Experience with stock reporting and valuation
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems
Experience supporting audits and year-end processes
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience working within a retail, fashion, ecommerce, or consumer brand environment advantageous
Ability to support FP&A activities and commercial decision-making
