Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Hours: Part-Time (25hrs per week, working pattern to be agreed)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

Metal Solutions is looking for a proactive and organised Part-Time Credit Controller to join our Accounts team.

This role is ideal for someone with previous accounts administration or credit control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring customers trade within agreed credit limits, and supporting the timely collection of outstanding payments while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer accounts and monitor credit limits.
Chase outstanding customer payments by telephone and email.
Process daily banking and sales invoices accurately and promptly.
Review and process customer credit applications.
Raise and monitor credit limits where appropriate.
Produce customer statements.
Carry out weekly bank reconciliations and timesheet checks.
Process customer payments over the telephone when required.
Ensure all documentation is electronically filed and securely disposed of in a timely manner.
Complete all work accurately, on time and in accordance with company procedures.
Support the Purchase Ledger team with ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Take responsibility for your own health and safety and contribute to a safe working environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in an accounts administration or credit control role.
Confident using Microsoft Excel.
Experienced with Sage accounting software (preferred).
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable communicating with customers by telephone and email.
Able to manage their workload effectively and meet deadlines.
Professional, reliable and committed to delivering excellent service.
