Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Bar Person to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for guests while expertly serving drinks and ensuring excellent customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver memorable experiences that keep patrons coming back. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle basic math calculations for bills and change
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-intoxication
Restock supplies regularly to ensure the bar is well-equipped for busy periods
Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during peak hours and special events

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy times
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing purposes
A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
