Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our team 2-3 days a week, providing essential electrical services within residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, delivering high-quality service to our valued clients. Applicants should possess relevant experience and a professional approach to customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances in residential properties
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and perform necessary maintenance
Troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and safely
Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised during and after job completion

Skills

Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician or similar role in residential settings
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance procedures, and safety standards
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Valid driving licence to facilitate travel between sites
Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients’ needs
Good organisational skills to manage multiple jobs efficiently

Pay: From £18.50 per hour

Work Location: On the road
