Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our small team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about catering, serving, and hospitality to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements in a friendly and professional manner
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
Making coffees / serving alcohol
Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions securely
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces regularly
Support baristas with drink preparation when necessary, ensuring quality standards are upheld
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns to enhance their overall experience

Experience

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
Barista experience is considered a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour is essential
Prior experience working in a fast-paced setting will be beneficial for handling busy service times effectively
