Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised educational/ mentoring support to students across a variety of subjects. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys, fostering confidence and a love of learning. The Tutor will work closely with children and young adults, tailoring teaching methods to meet individual needs and learning styles.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in various subjects, adapting teaching strategies to suit each student’s unique learning requirements.
Providing support to the learner as per need
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and, where appropriate, to parents or guardians.
Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards and individual learning objectives.
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student progress.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young adults.
Strong knowledge of core academic subjects and specialised areas such as special education needs.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
Organised, reliable, and committed to supporting students’ educational growth.
A recognised qualification in education or a related field is desirable but not essential. This role provides an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about education and student success.
