Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and professional Packaging Salesperson to join our existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of packaging products to an existing portfolio of customers, be expected to build strong customer relationships and maximise sales to existing & new customers. The role requires experience of sales and account management with multiple or group products, ideally B2B with distribution knowledge, experience within the packaging sector would be preffered. The role is office based however occsional customer visits would be expected.

What this role looks like in practice

- Identify, develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing customers, whilst actively seeking new business opportunities.

- Respond promptly to telephone and email enquires for our stock and bespoke packaging products, with full support from our management and purchasing teams.

- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, bespoke pricing and contracts.

- Regularly review gap analysis with our existing reporting software applications.

- Proactively generate enquires via, telephone, email, marketing campaigns.

- Manage sales pipelines efficiently, through organised Sales-i (CRM) record keeping and follow up activities.

- Support other team members.

- Office based with occasional customer visits.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Experience managing customer accounts within the packaging sector.

- An excellent telephone manner and strong presentation skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT skills.

- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management abilities to handle multiple client enquiries simultaneously.

- Organised and structured approach to work with attention to detail.
