Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The right candidate must be over 25 and have a full UK drivers license.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
Load and unload materials and equipment as required.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople.
Maintain a tidy work environment to ensure safety standards are met.
Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
Driving and delivering aggregate and material to site.

Skills

Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks effectively.
Basic knowledge of construction practices is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
Attention to detail to ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
