Account Manager (2 Positions Available)

Salary: £28,000–£35,000 per year + commission (depending on experience)
Location: Office-based | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Join Our Team

We're recruiting for two Account Manager positions within our businesses:

Account Manager – Bishops Printers – supporting clients with print, mailing and fulfilment solutions.
Account Manager – The Graphic Design House – supporting clients with branding, creative design, marketing and digital services.

Both roles are focused on managing and developing an existing portfolio of B2B clients, delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for building strong client relationships and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience. Acting as the main point of contact for your portfolio, you'll identify opportunities to grow accounts while working closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing an existing portfolio of B2B customer accounts.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Acting as the main point of contact for your customers via telephone, email, video calls and, where appropriate, face-to-face meetings.
Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximise account growth.
Following up quotations, estimates and proposals to convert opportunities into sales orders.
Onboarding new clients where required and developing those relationships into long-term accounts.
Booking customer projects accurately onto the company MIS system.
Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.
Providing clients with regular project updates and managing expectations throughout the customer journey.
Delivering outstanding customer service while achieving agreed KPIs and sales targets.
Becoming knowledgeable about the products and services offered within your business and confidently promoting them to customers.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys building relationships with customers.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in Account Management or a similar customer-facing role. However, candidates with strong transferable skills in customer service, sales support or administration are encouraged to apply.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Confidence communicating with customers by phone, email and video.
A proactive approach with the ability to build trust and develop long-term client relationships.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong team ethic.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs is desirable but not essential.
