Bodyshop Parts Administrator – Fix Auto Bournemouth £13–£15 per hour | Full Time | 42.5 Hours Per Week

Fix Auto Bournemouth is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Bodyshop Parts Administrator to manage parts ordering and allocation at our busy accident repair centre. Fix Auto is a leading independent accident repair network, trusted by insurers, manufacturers and drivers across the UK. You will play a key role in keeping the workshop supplied and running smoothly, maintaining accurate records and strong supplier relationships.

What you'll be doing:

Ordering all parts in line with job requirements, sequencing orders according to vehicle arrival dates
Ordering genuine or non-genuine parts as directed by guidelines
Checking all incoming parts for accuracy, condition and correct discount
Marking up and allocating parts to the correct job and storing them safely and securely
Keeping estimators, the Workshop Controller and reception informed of any back-ordered parts and obtaining supplier confirmation of delivery dates
Returning unused or incorrect parts and obtaining credit where applicable
Loading parts information onto the management system and maintaining accurate communication logs
Building and maintaining good relationships with parts suppliers
Escalating supplier issues such as incorrect supply or poor delivery times to management promptly

What we're looking for:

Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Good IT literacy, including confidence using management or stock systems
A good working knowledge of vehicle components and parts
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
Clear and professional communication skills, both with internal teams and external suppliers

Desirable:

Previous experience in a parts role within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
Familiarity with bodyshop management systems such as AutoFlow
Experience ordering genuine and non-genuine parts from motor trade suppliers

£13 – £15 per hour, based on experience
28 days holiday including bank holidays
