Full job description

Warehouse Operative & Mechanical Fitter required for a small yet ambitious manufacturer of tools and machinery used in construction. The role will suit individuals looking for a challenging and varied role.

To apply for the role, candidates need to have some experience in mechanical fitting and assembly of machinery. Experience of working in a warehouse environment is an advantage. You’ll be part of a small but talented team so need to be able to multi task and be a team player.

The role will be a combination of picking orders in a warehouse environment and also some fitting and assembly of construction tools and machines. You’ll be using appropriate hand tools to assemble. You need to be accurate and ensure high attention to detail to ensure the specification is met.

The role:

Picking and packing orders for dispatch
Fitting and assembly of construction machines
General duties in Warehouse
Occasional delivery driving

The person required:

Hold a current driving license, FLT license an advantage
Mechanical fitting/assembly experience
Team player, able to be flexible and multi task
Able to produce quality work to the required standard in a safe & timely manner following company procedures.

Benefits:

8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
40 Hours a Week
Salary Dependent on Experience + Pension + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Workwear + Parking
