Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse

Location: Cobham (KT11) | Practice: Crome Dental Clinic Pay: Starting from £13.50 (negotiable) Hours: 1 x Part-Time and 1x Full -Time

Crome Dental Clinic is looking for 2* DentalNurses* to become part of our team in Cobham, Surrey. Our Practice is located in a great location, a quiet part of Surrey close to the high street with a range of small shops, restaurants & cafes.

We are a 3 surgery practice that has recently expanded and now we are looking for some new team members to join us as we look to improve staff & patient experience.

Whether you are a seasoned Dental Nurse or a dedicated Trainee currently enrolled in a GDC-recognised course, we want to hear from you! We value clinical excellence and a warm bedside manner above all else.

Ideally the right candidates will have at least 6 months experience of dental nursing, however we are happy to consider Dental nurses who are registered onto a course with no prior experience as full training & support will be given.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments.
Sterilise and maintain dental equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, answering any questions they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence.
Uphold infection control protocols and ensure the clinic environment remains clean and organised.
Offer reassurance and support to anxious patients, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Knowledge of nursing principles as they relate to dental care is preferred.
Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
