About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods Inward Inspection & Dispatch Officer to support our operations team on a part-time basis. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of materials while maintaining the high standards required within the aerospace and defence sector.

Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming goods and carry out inspection and verification against documentation
Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
Book shipments with couriers (e.g., DHL) – training will be provided
Support general stores management and material control activities as required
Assist with kitting activities to support operational requirements (training provided)
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of inspection and storage areas, adhering to FOD (Foreign Object Debris) standards

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or aerospace environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation and traceability
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills (for booking shipments and inventory systems)
Willingness to learn and undertake training as required
