Joining Sainsbury's Digital Marketing team as an Influencer Associate means being part of a vibrant and innovative environment where you will have the opportunity to work with creators and influencers to shape the Sainsbury's influencer programme. With a focus on social media strategy, trendsetting content creation, and influencer outreach, you will play a key role in driving brand engagement. This role offers a dynamic setting for individuals who are passionate about social media, food and retail, providing the chance to contribute to impactful campaigns and collaborate with diverse teams, agencies, and platforms.

What you’ll do

As an Influencer Associate at Sainsbury’s in the Digital Marketing division, you will play a key role in supporting the Influencer Lead to manage the Sainsbury’s influencer programme.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with creators and influencers to deliver content across social channels in line with brand strategy
Owning the influencer calendar, ensuring content is planned and optimised for paid media utilisation
Supporting community management on influencer content, maintaining an active and engaging brand presence
Ensuring all influencer content aligns with brand guidelines and compliance requirements
Attending influencer events and supporting on-the-ground execution
Tracking and measuring influencer performance, reporting on effectiveness and key learnings
Conducting competitor analysis and sharing insights to optimise programme performance

Your deep understanding of social media, experience working with digital media agencies, and passion for staying current with trends will be key to success in this fast-paced, creative role.

Who you are

As an Influencer Associate for Sainsbury's, you are a dynamic and creative individual with a deep understanding of social media and a passion for engaging with influencers and creators to drive brand visibility and customer engagement. With excellent project management skills and experience in working with digital media agencies, you are adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and ensuring that influencer content aligns with brand guidelines and strategy. Your enthusiasm for social media trends, strong organisational skills, and ability to make informed decisions regarding influencer partnerships and content approval make you a valuable asset to the Digital Marketing team in enhancing Sainsbury's influencer programme.

Essential Criteria

Experience working with digital media, creative or influencer agencies.

Experience of social media tools and platforms (e.g. Sprout).

Project and cross-functional stakeholder management experience.

Experience in Influencer event planning.

Experience in Excel.

Experience in retail.
