About Gradan

Gradan are property specialists. We manage over 160+ properties, primarily in St Helens area with additional locations in Blackpool and North Wales. Our diverse portfolio includes residential lettings and a growing serviced accommodation division (Airbnb-style properties)We also have a number of construction/development projects ongoing.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Assiatant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accurate data entry, and supporting financial operations within our organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, utilising accounting software and financial systems. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail to maintain the integrity of financial records.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Purchase, sales and transactional handling
Debtor, Creditor & Ledger knowledge
Excellent organisational skills required
Ability to work independently is important
All-round finance experience preferred.
Understanding of Lettings/sales business would be an advantage
Strong communication skills

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee monthly supplier payment runs
Being responsible for all transactions – ensuring no bad data, all payments on account are rectified in a timely fashion and VAT invoices have been posted correctly
Assist Finance Manager to ensure all bank postings are reconciled and relevant
Manage supplier queriess
Maintain integrity of all information & support Finance Manager in management accounts providing commentary
Other general & ad-hoc duties when required
