Salary: £13.28- £13.47 per hour

Grade: CD

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 5.50 Hours per week (Term Time Only)

Location: Easingwold, North Yorkshire - Church Hill

Do you have half an hour to spare in the morning or afternoon?

If so, we’re looking for a School Crossing Patrol who wants to make a difference to the local community in Easingwold

The Role

Duty times: 8.10am -8.50am and 15.05 - 15.35 (5.50 hours per week) Monday- Friday

Our school crossing patrols provide a valuable service to the local community by ensuring that children and adults can cross the road safely on their route to and from school.

Your duties will include:

Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times

Stop traffic using the official ‘STOP’ sign

Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site

Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer

Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment

What you will bring

New recruits receive full training to ensure they feel confident and fully prepared to carry out this vital role safely and effectively.

A DBS is required for this role, the cost of which is met by North Yorkshire Council.
