Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable individual to join our team at Fluid Barbers . This role involves delivering exceptional customer service within a vibrant salon environment, specialising in hair styling and barbering services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional grooming and styling solutions, ensuring clients leave satisfied and confident. A strong emphasis on communication skills and a friendly demeanour is essential to foster positive client relationships and uphold our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Consult with clients to understand their styling preferences and provide expert advice
Perform hair cutting, colouring, styling, and barbering services with precision and care
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
Manage efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilised and maintained to the highest standards
strong communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering environment
Skilled in hair styling, barbering, colour application, and related techniques
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to listen attentively to clients’ requests
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
Knowledge of current hair trends, products, and industry best practices is desirable
